    Why isn’t Prandelli calling him up for the Squadra Azurri?? Who does Italy have on the right back position? Probably Zambrotta…. Abate is way better than Zambrotta!

    to all the people that say about Alves hes useless he cant defend when he gets ran at hes all over the place hes clumsy only reason why hes rated is because he came with a high price tag and because hes Brazilian Abate is much better

    @aleqwerty Alves is good at attacking, but can’t defend to save his life… His inability to defend cost Barça the CL last year against Inter at San Siro.

    amazing in attacking! and absulotely class in defending! he literally won against Ronaldo! Eto’o and now zanetti! best player in milan for the past 2 years in my opinion! but he need to work abit more on his cross-overs.

    I think we need in central defender, because Nesta will retire his career and it’s will be hard to find replacement to Nesta.

    I think Prandeli has to call him for the national he is in the top of his form. And Abiati should be the first keeper of Italy. This year he is far better than Buffon

    è cresciuto davvero tanto ignazio..l anno scorso lo insultavo perchè lo ritenevo solo scarso e quest anno mi pare il maicon degli anni scorsi….incontenibile..spinge,non ha paura,corre,la mette in mezzo,crossa…dietro difende bene e non si fa piu infinocchiare….gli manca solo il gol e raddrizzare il tiro..cmq bravo perchè è migliorato davvero tanto..

    he has been incredible this season, no doubt about that! 😉 now we don’t need to buy a new right back, just a left back, and our defence is complete!

    Abate is a beast. I love him. He is our best number 2 – right back. HE can also play number 7, right wing if we have severe injuries or play 4- 4 -2. He is very attacking. Maybe we should be a traditional right back and keep Abate at right wing.

    @massingstone i disagree. he is the best right back in the world. its his position… i dont care if we sign sergio ramos, dani alves, ivanovic, anyone. abate is milan right back. our defence is 3/4 set… silva, abate and nesta, however for nesta and inzaghi, we need replacements soon. paloschi and astori. abate is fast as a ferrari, but thats better defensively for us. he saves nesta’s ass and rapes that right wing. never looks tired either. he is the perfect rb

    @Rammsteinn8Italia well, I think it was a cross. I play a right winger, and sometimes I make hard crosses like that, so that it is in the middle of the air, and not so high. But I agree, would never have been a goal if Pato didn’t make that great effort.

    i adore the man but i have to say that shot at 2:03 was horrendous. and yes, it was a shot not a cross, and the only reason it went in was thanks to pato. still, he’s a great right back and will only improve in the future!

    lo adoro, ma devo dire che quel tiro a 2:03 era orrendo. e si, era un tiro, non un cross, è grazie a pato che abbiamo segnato. beh, è sempre un grande terzino and divernterà solo meglio nel futuro!

    @rava77 Anche a me l’anno scorso sembrava un brocco incredibile.. secondo me era soltanto questione di fiducia.. Lui non è un ragazzo con grande personalità, aveva assolutamente bisogno di fiducia, e quest’anno l’ha trovata grazie alle partite contro Inter(all’andata) e Real.. Lì ha cominciato a migliorare a vista d’occhio, e ora è senza dubbio il miglior terzino destro italiano..

    Zambrotta can not play any match like in match with Inter and he is not young anymore…We need a left defend like are Aly Cissokho,Gareth Bale or Tawio or italian Cristico, but now I remeber that Allegri have one choise for the left defender and he is Didac Vila.

    I don’t now why Allegri don’t activite him in just one match or just for 45 minuts when team are wining.

    I don’t now why Allegri don’t have a trust in Didac, he activate Merkel and Strasser in very important match’s but he don’t activate Didac in simpley match’s or when team is wining?

    @aleqwerty keep in mind abate is 24, and plays in italy. now look at an older alves, playing in spain.

    if abate was in spain all hell would break loose. abate>alves long term
